I turned 22 last Thursday and to celebrate getting old my girlfriend took me to the restaurant/carnivore pilgrimage site, Fogo de Chao in Philadelphia.
Fogo is a Brazilian churrascaria steakhouse, which means that there are people walking around the restaurant with big skewers of meats and give you as much as you want. They give you a little card that is green on one side, and red on the other, and when you are ready for meat you turn it to green. You are then bombarded with 12 different kinds of meats that Fogo’s “Gaucho” chefs slice right off the skewer for you.
Just take a look at a few of the meats they offer.

Fogo offers something that you definitely can’t make in our dorm room and is an eating experience of a lifetime. I highly recommend it.
